Starts on Thursday, 23rd July 2026, 7 AM IST.

Ends on Monday, 31st August 2026, 11:59 PM IST or as soon as running places are filled, whichever is earlier.

The minimum age eligibility to apply for the Open 10K race category is 15 years (born on or before 17.10.2011)

Important:

  1. Participation confirmation shall be subject to –
    1. Applicant fulfilling the minimum age eligibility – completed 15 years of age (born on or before 17.10.2011).

  2. Applicants do not require a prior timing certificate to apply for an Open 10K. However, submitting a latest timing certificate during Open 10K registration secures a start wave allocation on race day based on the timing performance.
  3. Open 10K entries will be accepted under group registrations. However, to ensure that each bib number is accurately assigned and collected, all participants must collect their own bibs in person from the Expo. This is crucial to ensure that only the officially registered runner takes part on race day, helping prevent any risk of disqualification.
  4. In order to collect the running number bib from the PLAYSCAPE – Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) 2026 Expo (Thursday, 15th October to Saturday, 17th October 2026), participants will need to choose their bib collection time slots. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmed participants residing in Delhi-NCR are requested to choose their bib collection time slots across the 15th and 16th October, allowing time slots available on 17th October for outstation participants to collect their running number bibs.
  5. On race day, there will be a Start Wave based on the timing certificate provided at the time of registration. No provision of changing the start wave at the expo will be entertained.
  6. All finishers of the Open 10K race category will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (please collect your medal before leaving the venue; medals will not be posted to individual runners if they fail to collect on the race day.). While provisional results will be available by 5 pm on race day, timing certificates of Open 10K finishers will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in/ post 21 working days from race day.
  7. Confirmed Open 10K men and women participants will receive a Puma race day t-shirt, at the Bib Collection Center within the PLAYSCAPE – Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) 2026 Expo We will try our best to accommodate the tee size selected by you. However, if unavailable, the next best available size tee will be offered. Any requests for change in sizes/colour will not be entertained. Please note no race day tee will be couriered to anyone pre or post the event.
  8. No wheelchair/wheeled vehicle is allowed in the Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, and Senior Citizens’ Run race categories on race day. 
  9. HOME RUN SQUAD – Your Family, Your Finish Line! If you and 3 or more members of your family are participating in the event on-ground on 18th October, fill out the form here with their names and transaction IDs to receive a special Home Run Squad Digital Photo Frame after the race. *Offer valid on first-come first-served basis, only if all participants of the family are confirmed and participate on race day.

  11. All confirmed participants can enjoy a free Delhi Metro ride on race day! 
    As a green initiative, all confirmed participants can collect a complimentary Metro band with QR code from the PLAYSCAPE – Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) 2026 Expo while collecting their bib. Valid for to-and-fro travel on race day only. Go green. Ride the Metro. Run for the planet.
  12. Baggage Tags: Open 10K participants who wish to avail of the baggage deposit facility on race day must opt for the baggage tag service either during registration or later through their participant profile. Please note that baggage tags are available in limited numbers and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.  

    Participants who have successfully opted for the baggage facility must collect the official baggage tag issued by Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL) at the Expo. The tag must be securely attached to the bag on race day, and the corresponding claim stub must be retained for baggage collection. Bags without a valid official baggage tag will not be accepted at the baggage deposit counters.  

    A refundable security deposit of INR 500 per baggage tag will be charged at the time of opting for the service. The deposit will be refunded within 15 working days after race day. 

    Participants are strongly advised not to deposit cash, jewellery, electronic devices, passports, valuables, fragile items, perishable goods, hazardous materials, or any prohibited articles in their baggage. PIPL shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, theft, damage, misplacement, or delay in the handling, storage, or return of baggage.
