Open 10K

Start Waves

Applicants who had applied for and got confirmed in the Open 10K race category will get allotted start wave for race day start (18th October 2026) based on the finish timings mentioned on respective timing certificates submitted at the time of application.

  • When submitting a finish time of 10 KM distance:  
    Start Wave A: Finish time up to 01:29:59  
    Start Wave B1: Finish time 01:30:01 and above, and applications without a timing certificate, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until spots are filled. 
    Start Wave B2: Remaining spots for applicants with finish time 01:30:01 and above, and those without a timing certificate, allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis after Waves B1 are filled.
  • When submitting a finish time of 5 KM distance:  
    Start Wave A: Finish time up to 00:43:09  
    Start Wave B1: Finish time from 00:43:10 and applications without a timing certificate, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until spots are filled. 
    Start Wave B2: Remaining spots for applicants with finish time 00:43:10 and above, and those without a timing certificate, allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis after Waves B1 are filled.
  • Where submitting a finish time of the Half Marathon (21.097 KM) distance:  
    Start Wave A: Finish time up to 03:18:32  
    Start Wave B1: Finish time from 03:18:33 and applications without a timing certificate, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until spots are filled. 
    Start Wave B2: Remaining spots for applicants with finish time 03:18:33 and above, and those without a timing certificate, allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis after Waves B1 are filled.
  • Where submitting a finish time of 25K distance:  
    Start Wave A: Finish time up to 03:57:40  
    Start Wave B1: Finish time from 03:57:41 and applications without a timing certificate, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until spots are filled. 
    Start Wave B2: Remaining spots for applicants with finish time 03:57:41 and above, and those without a timing certificate, allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis after Waves B1 are filled.
  • Where submitting a finish time of Marathon (42.195 KM) distance:  
    Start Wave A: Finish time up to 06:53:56  
    Start Wave B1: Finish time from 06:53:57 and applications without a timing certificate, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until spots are filled. 
    Start Wave B2: Remaining spots for applicants with finish time 06:53:57and above, and those without a timing certificate, allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis after Waves B1 are filled.

NOTE: Open 10K start waves given above are indicative and may undergo a change, which will be communicated on the website https://vedantadelhihalfmarathon.procam.in/ post closure of all registrations. On race day timing results and certificates will be generated only for runners who complete the Open 10K  distance within 1 hr and 30 mins from the start time.

Important: Confirmed applicants improving their timing performance post submission of application can request for changing the Start Wave only till 20th September 2026 valid timing certificate needs to be provided for this on email: vedantadelhihalfmarathon@procam.in. No change of Start Wave requests will be accepted at the 20th September 2026.
