What does the registration fee cover?

Can I participate in a Half Marathon without a prior timing certificate?

No, Entry to the half marathon race category is only against a timing certificate (except limited places for Women's criteria and Charity running places). You may participate in one of the upcoming races & get a timing certificate. To view Half Marathon confirmation criteria click here

Please note, the timing certificate will have to be given at the time of registration and cannot be submitted later.

Who can participate in the Champions with Disability race category?

Participation in the Champions with Disability (CWD) is open for individuals with the following disabilities: physical/locomotor disability, intellectual impairment, visual impairment, hearing impairment and orthopedic or neurological disorder.

As a Women participant, is it mandatory for me to submit the prior timing certificate to participate in the Half marathon race category?

To encourage women’s participation, there are a limited number of running places reserved for women applicants who cannot submit a timing certificate or do not fall within the timings criteria.

Can I participate in the Open 10K without a prior timing certificate?

Yes. You can participate in the Open 10K race category without a prior timing certificate under general criteria.

Can I register for more than one race category at the on-ground event?

No. An individual can apply only for one race category at the on-ground event. Multiple applications will entail all being rejected.

Is it mandatory to participate with a Buddy (attendant) in the Champions With Disability race category?

We recommend participants of the Champions with Disability be accompanied by his/her Buddy (attendant) on race day. The buddy must be 18 years and above (born on or before 14th October 2005)as on the race day. The buddy registration is to be done at the time of the applicant’s registration. An applicant can now register upto 2 buddies while registering.

Is attaching a passport sized photograph with the online application form compulsory?

Yes, it has to be provided with each application form at the time of submission of application. Online applicants need to attach their photograph with their face clearly visible whilst submitting the application; the photograph size should not exceed 1 MB in .jpeg and .png format. 

All participants’ race day images will be screened visually after the race and matched with the photo provided at the time of registration. If the photo provided during registration does not match with the race day photo of the confirmed participant, the registered runner will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event. 

Note: Uploading unclear/group photo will result in rejection of the application.


 

Is attaching a Govt. issued photo ID proof with my application compulsory?

Yes, applicants need to attach their Govt. issued photo ID proof whilst submitting the application; the photograph size should not exceed 1 MB in .jpeg and .png format.

Govt. issued photo ID proof will include documents like Passport, PAN Card, and Aadhaar Card.

Note: Uploading unclear ID proof/ date of birth not available will result in rejection of the application.

 

Is it mandatory to submit PAN card details, for the donation I made during the registration process?

Yes, for your donation, it is mandatory to submit your PAN details during the registration process. Donors will receive tax exemption certificate on their registered email ID from United way Delhi.

How can an overseas applicant apply for the Event?

An overseas applicant can apply through online registrations.

In whose name should the cheque or demand draft be made in case of group registrations?

All cheques/demand draft to be drawn in favour of "PROCAM INTERNATIONAL PVT. LTD."

Which payment mode will be accepted for online registration?

An online applicant can pay ONLY via credit card, net banking, debit card, UPI and payment wallets.

How will my entry acceptance be intimated to me?

Post 10 days of registration, individual applicants are required to go to the VDHM website, login into their profile using the registered email id and check “my profile section” for their application status.

Can I register for both on-ground and virtual event?

Yes, you can register for both on-ground and virtual event, using the same email id.

Can I register for the virtual event if I have already registered for an on-ground event previously?

Yes, you can login with the same email id and proceed to the virtual race category section, pay and register in case you have already registered for the on-ground race category previously.

Can I run both on-ground as well as the virtual race of the same distance on the same day?

Yes, you can register for both formats in the same race category and if confirmed, run on the same day, although for the virtual race category, you will only be tracked via VDHM app.

Under what circumstances will my rejected application fee be refunded and how?

  1. Once your entry is received, no requests for refund of application fees will be entertained under any circumstances.
  2. Where your application is rejected for reasons whatsoever, the entry fee component paid will be refunded on or before 30th November 2024. An amount of ₹ 200 will be deducted as processing charges.
  3. Application fees shall not be refunded by virtue of non-participation, including failure by a confirmed participant to collect his/her bib from the Mirchi Get Active Expo.
  4. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post-30th November 2024.

Will I be eligible for a refund in case I didn’t pick up my confirmed bib from the expo?

Will I get a refund of my entry fees, if my application is not accepted?

Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation. Where your application is not confirmed for any reason, the application fees paid by you will be refunded on or before 30th November 2024. An amount of ₹200 will be deducted as processing charges. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post 30th November 2024.

Will I get a refund for unused codes?

Once online codes are purchased, they can only be used online for the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024 edition till the time registrations are open or running places are available. The amount against unused codes will be refunded after deducting the processing fees of 4% from the total refundable amount. The refund will be made by 30th December 2024.
 

Will I get a timing certificate and medal for participation in the Great Delhi Run (4.5 kms) Category?

The Great Delhi Run category is a participative, fun run. Being a non-timed category, finish timings of participants will not be captured; timing certificates will not be issued for this category. 

All finishers of the Great Delhi Run race category will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (medals will not be posted to individual runners).  Participation certificates of Great Delhi run participants will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in/ post 7 working days from race day

Will I get a timing certificate and medal for participation in the Senior Citizens’ Run (2.5 Kms) Category?

The Senior Citizens’ Run is a non-timed participative category. While timing certificates will not be provided, all finishers of the Sr. Citizens’ Run race category will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (medals will not be posted to individual runners) and participation certificates of Sr. Citizens’ run participants will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in/ post 7 working days from race day.

Will I get a timing certificate and medal for participation in the Champions With Disability (2.5 Kms) Category?

The Champions With Disability is a non-timed participative category. While timing certificates will not be provided, all finishers of the Champions with Disability race category, including Buddies, will get the participation medal post their run on race day (please collect your medal before leaving the event venue; medals will not be posted to individual finishers). Also, participation certificates of CWD participants will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in/ after 7 working days after race day. 

Will I get a timing certificate and finishers medal for participating in the Half Marathon (21.097) Kms Category/Open 10K (10 Kms) Category?

Yes, all finishers of the Half Marathon/Open 10K race categories will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (medals will not be posted to individual runners). While provisional results will be available by 5 pm on race day, timing certificates of finishers will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in post 21 working days from race day.

Can I change my race category once I have applied/my application is confirmed?

Once you have applied for a particular race category, you cannot change your race category.

Once I have applied can I cancel my application/surrender my bib for Half Marathon category and get a refund?

Once applied, no requests for refund of application fees will be entertained, under any circumstances.

When will I get my application confirmation and how?

Application confirmation will be sent to your registered email id and will also be updated in your profile on the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon website post 10 working days of registering. You need to login with your registered email id to view your application status.

Can I register for my friend?

No. An applicant has to sign/agree to the waiver/consent himself/herself. You cannot register on your friend's behalf.

What will happen once I submit my Half Marathon application under confirmation criteria?

Your application for the half marathon will be confirmed based on the confirmation criteria mentioned here Please note, that confirmation is subject to –

  1. Verification of valid timing certificate submitted by you (if applicable).
  2. Verification of documents, where applicable, submitted by you.
  3. Verification of your application’s eligibility under each criterion.
  4. Availability of running spaces under each criterion.
  5. Entry Rules and Guidelines.

How can a group SPOC pick up all the bibs of the group from the expo?

Group Bibs Collection: A group can send their representative/s to collect the running number bibs on behalf of their team members. Running number bibs of the entire group will be handed over at one go of all race categories. Groups need to select bib pick-up slots online. The representative/s need to carry the following documents for collection of number bibs:

(i)  Printed copy of group confirmation email sent across to the group’s point person

(ii)   Printed copy of signed letter on the NGO/company letterhead authorising the representative/s to collect number bibs on behalf of the group. 

(iii)  Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.

No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses for whatsoever reasons. Further, no number bibs will be handed over to any participant post the declared closing hours of the Expo – by 5 p.m. on Saturday, 14th October 2024.


 

Can I and my group of friends/colleagues submit our applications together as a group?

Group entries will be accepted for all the participative race categories (Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions with Disability). There has to be a minimum of 20 individual entries across these race categories to comprise a group. 

Group Registration Process where the group/corporate is sponsoring the entry fees of its team members/employees for the on-ground Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run/Senior Citizens’ Run/Champions with Disability participative category.

  1. Point of contact of the group/ corporate (PoC) to email the request at corporateregistration@procam.in with the number of registrations required mentioning the group name and race categories.
  2. Post receiving the group/ corporate group registration email request, the PoC will be emailed the payment link to pay the cumulative entry fees of all its team members.
  3. On making online payment, PoC is to share the online payment receipt on email: corporateregistration@procam.in with group/corporate details to receive online group registration codes. No codes will be shared if the payment receipt is not shared with us on email: corporateregistration@procam.in. The amount against unused codes will be refunded after deducting the processing fees of 4% from the total refundable amount. The refund will be made by 30th December 2024.
  4. Upon receiving the payment confirmation email, a receipt voucher of registration fees will be generated and sent by PIPL to the PoC’s email address.
  5. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon registration team will email PoC the unique codes required to get the individual team members registered online to be part of the group.
  6. All members of the group/corporate need to individually using the online codes issued by PIPL.
  7. By using the code, the team member is not required to pay the applicable entry fees of the on-ground Half Marathon/Open 10K/ Great Delhi Run/Senior Cirizens’ Run/Champions With Disability category. 
  8. Purchasing online codes does not guarantee entry to the event. The members of the group/corporate need to register online using codes before the registration end date or till the running spaces are available for the on-ground Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run/Senior Citizens’ Run/Champions with Disability category at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024 edition. Registrations will close as and when the running spaces are filled.
  9. Once online codes are purchased, they can only be used online for the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024 edition and till the time registrations are open or running places are available.
  10. Team members not mentioning the online code given by PIPL, and as intimated to them by their POC, will not be considered to be part of the group. Such applicants will be required to collect their running bib number from the Mirchi Get Active Expo separately. No provision of refunding the individual payment or adding such participants in the group will be entertained.

 

Group Registration Process where individual team members/ employees will be paying their own entry fees for the on-ground Half Marathon/ Open 10K / Great Delhi Run/ Senior Citizens’ Run/Champions with Disability participative category.

  1. Point of contact of the group/ corporate (POC) email the request at corporateregistration@procam.in with the number of registrations required in the Half Marathon/ Open 10K / Great Delhi Run/ Senior Citizens’ Run/Champions with Disability race category, mentioning the group name. 
  2. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon registration team will email POC the common group registration code required to get the individual team members registered online to be part of the group.  
  3. All members of the group/corporate need to individually register online using the common group registration code issued by PIPL, and pay the applicable entry fee.
  4. Purchasing the common group registration code does not guarantee entry to the event. The members of the group/corporate need to register online code before the registration end date or until the running spaces are available at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon edition. Registrations will close as and when the running spaces are filled.
  5. Team members not applying the online code given by PIPL, and as intimated to them by their POC, will not be considered to be part of the group. Such applicants will be required to collect their running bib number from the Mirchi Get Active Expo separately. No provision of refunding the individual payment or adding such participants in the group will be entertained.
  6. All requisite mandatories (submission of mandatory documents) will apply for all team members registering under the group.

How can I collect my bib for the on-ground race?

  1. In order to collect a running number bib from the Mirchi Get Active Expo (Thursday, 17th October to Saturday, 19th October 2024), participants will need to choose their bib collection time slots. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmed participants residing in Delhi-NCR are requested to choose their bib collection time slots across the 17th and 18th October, allowing time slots available on 19th October for outstation participants to collect their number bibs. 
  2.  It is mandatory for all individual participants of the Half Marathon and Open 10K race categories to collect their running numbers personally from the Bib Collection Centre within the Mirchi Get Active Expo. Confirmed participants must carry along following documents in order to collect his/her number bib:

(i)    Application confirmation.

(ii)   Govt. approved photo ID proof.

c.   In case of unavoidable circumstances, a runner confirmed in any of the race categories can send his/her representative to collect running number bib on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect running number bib on behalf of more than ONE participant. The representative must carry along following documents for number bib collection:

(i)   Application confirmation.

(ii)   Govt. approved photo ID proof of the runner.

(iii) Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.

While registering online, what should I do if the amount is deducted from my account but my transaction status is shown as pending?

What should I do if I am unable to open the registration website?

We recommend you to use an updated version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for an optimized registration experience. You should also clear the cache and cookies and retry. If the problem still persists, send us a screenshot of the error at vedantadelhihalfmarathon@procam.in

On what grounds can my application be rejected or declared invalid?

Your application can be rejected on any of the grounds listed below. A regret email will be sent to the email ID mentioned in the form spelling out the reason for not accepting your application.

  1. Incomplete form submitted.
  2. Waiver & consent not signed.
  3. The applicant is underage for the race chosen.
  4. Mutilated form/cheque/demand draft submitted.
  5. More than one application received from the same applicant for an on-ground event.
  6. Short receipt or non-receipt of application fee.
  7. Required documents not attached/submitted/submitted documents not valid.
  8. Running places are full.
  9. Any other reason.

What options do I have in case my application gets rejected?

Unregistered applicants can approach the participating NGOs (registered with the Philanthropy Partner, United Way Delhi) to avail Charity Running Places, which are available by making a donation. Charity Running Places will be available till 20th September 2024 or until charity running places are available, whichever is earlier.

(i) Relevant confirmation criteria will be applicable for the timed race categories

(ii) Such applicants will also need to submit all the necessary mandatory documents as specified in the application process. 

(iii) Charity Bibs are available from 19th July 2024.

How can I book my bib pick up slot at the expo for the VDHM 2024 on-ground race category?

For this edition, participants will be given options to choose their bib pick-up time slot; overseas and outstation participants will get a slot preference for Saturday, 14th October 2024. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

To book a slot, login using your registered email id on  https://vedantadelhihalfmarathon.procam.in/ and choose a date and time as per your preference and availability under “my profile section”. You can also view your application confirmation under the “my profile section” after logging in to your profile.

Is a Goodie bag available to all participants of VDHM 2024?

No. Goodie bags are not given.

Can you post me my Running Number Bib?

No. All participants must come to the Expo to collect their Bibs.

Can I transfer my bib to somebody else or somebody else can run on my bib?

No, it cannot be transferred to somebody else.  Race day images of participants will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participants is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in 2024. Further, Procam International reserves the right to take necessary legal action against the registered participant and the person who has used the running number bib on race day, for impersonation.
IMPORTANT: All running bibs have a unique barcode affixed to it. This barcode is synced to the personal details of the registrant, including photographs, submitted by them while registering. All running bibs will be scanned at the entrances of the event venue. Persons without a bib or wearing an incorrect or invalid bib, or where the photograph submitted along with the form does not match with the person wanting to enter the venue, WILL NOT be allowed entry. For Groups, do make sure that you distribute bibs as per the list shared with the group POC and assigned by the Promoter. You are sincerely advised NOT TO EXCHANGE THE RUNNING BIB WITH ANOTHER PARTICIPANT/PERSON. Procam International will also blacklist the group from participating in the next edition if the group is found to have distributed bibs to non-registered participants/incorrect participants.
 

Will I get my bib replaced in case I lose it, or post a bib collection?

No, we will not be able to replace any bib once it has been collected from our end. 

Can I register on the day of the event?

No. Registration requests will not be entertained after the closure of respective registration dates.

Will my performance at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023 (on ground) event be considered for the Procam Slam?

Yes, you can complete your Procam Slam cycle by successfully completing the half marathon in the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024. Performance at VDHM 2024 will also be taken into account for someone who is starting their new Procam Slam cycle. For more details please visit https://www.procam.in/procam-slam-2022 

Will I get a Race Day Singlet/T-shirt?

Only confirmed half marathon participants will receive a Puma race day T-shirt, at the Bib Collection Center within the Mirchi Get Active Expo. We will try our best to accommodate the t-shirt size selected by you. However, if unavailable, the next best available size will be offered. Any requests for change in sizes/colour will not be entertained. Please note no race day t-shirt will be couriered to anyone pre or post the event.

Can I run with a dog?

No, animals are not permitted in our events.

Can I run with a child in a pushchair/sling ?

No, children {under the age limit for the event} or unregistered participants are not allowed on the course.

Once I have applied can I cancel my application and get a refund?

Can I surrender my bib after 15th September 2024?*

No, the bib surrender facility is not applicable for registrants registering post 15th September 2024.

Is it possible to register both myself and my ward/spouse from the same system?

Certainly! You can register multiple individuals using the same system. Just ensure that you log out from your previous profile before initiating a new registration. Remember, one email ID can be used to register only one individual.

In the case of group registration, will we be eligible for a refund if registrations are over before the end date?

Yes, groups who have pre-paid will be eligible for a refund for unused codes, minus a 4% processing fee. The refund will be issued by 30th December 2024. For example, if the total amount against unused codes is INR 10,000, the refunded amount will be INR 9,600.

What is years participated on Half Marathon bib?

 “Years participated" in Half Marathon running bib 
The "Years participated" on Half Marathon running bib is exclusively assigned to Half Marathon runners who have consistently participated and completed the " Half Marathon " race category since the inception of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon event. Printed on the bib (e.g. 1 & running), the "Years participated" serves to recognize one's longstanding association with the event and their commitment to it. It is determined by combining the participant's first name, last name, and date of birth, the "Years participated" acknowledges their dedication. If a participant identifies an error in the "Years participated" specified in their application confirmation email, we kindly request them to contact us at vedantadelhihalfmarathon@procam.in. Please ensure that the email includes all the bib numbers associated with the participant in the Half Marathon race category, over the years. It is important to note that participants must use the same first name, last name, and date of birth to ensure accurate "Years participated" allocation. The last date to request a correction in the "Years participated" is 20th September 2024.

What is the BIB Surrender Facility?*

The BIB Surrender Facility allows confirmed participants of the Half Marathon race category who are unable to participate on race day due to unavoidable circumstances like injury or illness to surrender their bibs to Procam International.

When and how can I surrender my bib?*

Confirmed participant can surrender his/her bib with effect from 30th August 2024 (1000 Hrs) to 15th September 2024 (1900 Hrs) filling the bib surrender request form. Once the bib surrender request is successfully processed, you will receive the refund in your source account after the deduction of INR 200 as the bib surrender processing charges on or before 30th November 2024. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Event Registration Team immediately.
