Entry Rules & Regulations

Please read these guidelines carefully before you apply.

  1. Application Guidelines
    1. Read all information below before submitting the online application. Registration confirmation is subject to the applicable confirmation criteria and the entry rules given herein.
    2. You may apply for only one of the five on-ground, non-elite race categories:
      1. Half Marathon,
      2. Open 10K,
      3. Great Delhi Run,
      4. Senior Citizens’ Run,
      5. Champions with Disability.  

        If you submit multiple applications, none of your entries will be confirmed. Further, an applicant must apply for the event using a single email address.
    3. An applicant will be confirmed, subject to fulfilling conditions mentioned herein and confirmation criteria (where applicable), only for the race category he/she has applied for.
    4. Applications must be submitted online using the registration link by paying applicable entry fees based on the race category opted for. No individual or group is authorized to collect entries on behalf of Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL).
    5. Group entries
      1. GROUP REGISTRATIONS: DEADLINES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
        • The deadline for group registration payments is Thursday, 10th September 2026. Groups are requested to initiate their group registration request and payments well in advance to ensure receipt by the deadline. Click here for more details.
        • After purchasing a registration code, registrants must complete registration within 7 days of code issue. Unused codes will be deactivated automatically.
        • Important: Entries will close as soon as the event reaches capacity. Participants are strongly encouraged to register early because slots are limited.
        • Group entries are accepted for all race categories. A group must include at least 20 participants. However, all Half Marathon and Open 10K participants must collect their own bibs in person at the Expo.
      1. All group members must meet the minimum age requirement for their race category.

    6. Before you submit your/your ward’s application, please confirm that you:
      1. have completed all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the application form;
      2. have paid the applicable entry fee;
      3. have agreed to the waiver, consent, Terms of Use/Service, Privacy Policy, Race regulations, and entry rules in the application form;
      4. meet the minimum age eligibility criteria for the event;
      5. have uploaded the latest timing certificate, where required for start wave confirmation; and
      6. have uploaded a clear, recent photograph and a government-approved ID showing your full name, date of birth, and gender. Accepted IDs include Aadhaar, PAN, passport, and driving license.  

        Note:
        • Self-Identity Verification: To ensure that accurate participant information is captured while maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security, a Self-Identity Verification process has been introduced via Aadhaar card.
        • Indian Nationals: You can verify key details such as your full name, date of birth, gender, and nationality through your Aadhaar. Verification is completed via the official Aadhaar app. To proceed:
          1. Download and install the official Aadhaar app on your mobile device.
          2. Log in to your Aadhaar profile within the app.
          3. During the verification process, scan the QR code displayed on the registration screen using the Aadhaar app.
          4. Complete the verification successfully to validate your details.
        • Overseas Participants: You are required to upload a copy of your passport to verify your identity and personal details. This verification process helps ensure the authenticity of participant information while safeguarding personal data.
        • Your middle name is collected solely for ID verification purposes. It will not appear on your race bib, confirmation emails, or any other official event materials, nor will it be considered in event classifications or recognitions.
        • If there is any discrepancy in the mandatory requirements listed above, your application will not be confirmed.
    7. Once you submit your online application successfully, you cannot edit your online profile yourself. For corrections, please email us at vedantadelhihalfmarathon@procam.in.
    8. After confirmation, Half Marathon and Open 10K participants will be classified into age categories for awards and recognitions. For more information, click here.
    9. Start waves for the Half Marathon and Open 10K are indicative and may change. Any updates will be shared on the event website after registrations close.
    10. Application status: You can view your application status on the event website within 10 working days of successful registration. If you cannot access it online, please contact our event helpline number +91 8527276694 or email us at vedantadelhihalfmarathon@procam.in.
    11. Charity Running Places: Unregistered applicants or individuals who wish to contribute to an NGO/Cause of their choice can approach the participating NGOs registered with the philanthropy partner, Lakshyaa, to obtain Charity Running Places. Charity Running Places will be available until 6 October 2026 or until all such places are filled.
      1. Relevant confirmation criteria will be applicable for the timed race categories.
      2. Such applicants will also need to submit all the necessary mandatory documents as specified in the application process. 
      3. Charity bibs will be available from 23rd July 2026. If you register after 30 September 2026, your name will not appear on the bib, and you will be placed in the last wave for timed race categories.

    12. Guaranteed Running Places – SportyTrip Concierge Packages: The SportyTrip Concierge Package is a hospitality and travel offering and does not include race registration. After purchasing the package, participants will receive a unique registration code that allows them to apply for an eligible race category.
      1. To be considered for race entry, participants must complete the official event registration process, pay the applicable race registration fee, and satisfy all confirmation and eligibility requirements, including the submission of a valid timing certificate where applicable.
      2. Buying a SportyTrip Concierge Package, receiving a registration code, or completing registration does not guarantee race entry. Participation in the event will be confirmed only after all requirements are verified and in accordance with the event's rules, guidelines, and confirmation criteria are met.
    13. Baggage facility: Participants who opt for the baggage facility (available only to Half Marathon and Open 10K participants) must collect the official baggage tag issued by Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL) at the Expo, attach it to their bag on the race day, and submit the corresponding claim stub at the time of baggage collection. Bags without a valid official tag will not be accepted on race day.
      • A refundable security deposit of INR 500 per baggage tag will be charged at registration and refunded within 15 working days after race day. Do not deposit valuables, cash, jewellery, electronic devices, passports, fragile items, perishable items, hazardous items, or prohibited items. PIPL is not liable for loss, theft, damage, misplacement, or delay in baggage handling or return. For more information, click here.
  2. Get Active Expo & Running Number Bib Collection
    1. In order to collect your bib at the Get Active Expo (Thursday, 15th October to Saturday, 17th October 2026), you must choose a bib collection time slot. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmed participants living in Delhi are requested to choose 15th or 16th October so that 17th October remains available for outstation participants. 
    2. Personal bib collection: Half Marathon and Open 10K  
      Participants in the Half Marathon and Open 10K must collect their bibs in person at the Bib Collection Centre within the Get Active Expo. Confirmed participants must carry the following documents to collect their bib:
      1. Application confirmation.
      2. Govt. approved photo ID proof.
    3. If you are confirmed in any race category and cannot collect your bib yourself because of unavoidable circumstances, you may send one representative. A representative may collect a bib for only one participant. The representative must carry the following documents:
      1. Application confirmation.
      2. Govt. approved photo ID proof of the runner.
      3. Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.
    4. Group bib collection: Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run, and Champions with Disability: A group can send representative(s) to collect bibs for team members in these categories. Bibs for these categories will be handed over together. Half Marathon and Open 10K participants must collect their own bibs at the Expo. Representatives must carry the following documents:
      1. A printed copy of the group confirmation email sent to the group point person.
      2. A printed copy of the signed authorisation letter on the NGO or company letterhead authorising the representative(s) to collect bibs on behalf of the group.
      3. Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.
    5. No bib will be posted to any mailing address for any reason. No bib will be issued after the Expo closes at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, 17th October 2026.
  3. Entry Rejection and Refund Policy
    1. Entry fees are non-refundable once an entry is confirmed. However, Half Marathon participants may use the bib surrender facility in case of illness, injury, or if the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026 is rescheduled. Bib surrender will be available from 3 September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to 15 September 2026 at 7:00 p.m. by submitting the bib surrender request form. A processing fee of INR 200 will be deducted from the registration fee. The remaining amount will be refunded on or before 30 November of BIB surrender.
    2. If your application is rejected, the entry fee component paid will be refunded on or before 30 November 2026, after deduction of INR 200 as processing charges.
    3. The INR 500 baggage facility charge will be refunded within 15 working days after race day.
    4. Application fees will not be refunded for non-participation, failure to collect the bib from the Expo, late arrival at the venue or start area, failure to start within the prescribed time, or denial of participation on race day for medical, safety, or operational reasons.
    5. Report any refund discrepancy to the event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained after 30 November 2026.
    6. If a registrant uses a corporate or group code without being the authorised recipient, PIPL may deny the entry or application. In that case, the registrant will not receive a bib and will not be allowed to participate on race day.
  4. Entry Deferment Policy
    1. If VDHM 2026 is cancelled, your entry will be carried forward in the same race category to the next edition of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon. No additional entry fee will be charged. However, additional qualification criteria, if set for the next edition, shall apply.
    2. If participation in specific race categories must be reduced because of government-issued protocols, the last-in-first-out rule will apply.
    3. Participants who do not receive final confirmation may defer their entry in the same race category to the next edition of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon without paying an additional entry fee.  Additional qualification criteria, if any, set for the next edition shall apply.
  5. Other Important Points
    1. Top-up donations made during registration are non-refundable in all circumstances.
    2. The right to participate in the event, and any related rights or benefits, are granted at PIPL’s sole discretion and cannot be transferred to another person. Only the applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising from a confirmed entry.
    3. A verification agency may verify the identity and content submitted at the time of registration of confirmed participants. You hereby give your consent to share your data with the said third-party agency. If any information or document is found to be incorrect at any stage, the participant may be withheld or disqualified, and no application fee will be refunded. Any benefits associated with participation in the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026 will be forfeited.
    4. Race day images will be reviewed after the race. If a participant is found wearing a bib that was not assigned to them, the registered participant will be disqualified from the race and from the next edition of the event. Procam International also reserves the right to take legal action for impersonation against both the registered participant and the person who used the bib.
    5. Any audio, video, or visual recording made by a participant at the VDHM 2026 Expo or on race day may be used only for personal purposes and not for commercial use. The official photographer for VDHM 2026 is One Glint. Individual runner photographs will be available for sale and download on the event website 48 hours after race day.
    6. Participants in any race category must not carry out brand marketing or promotion for non-sponsor or non-partner brands at the event. Corporate and group registrations may use placards, banners, caps, and T-shirts to display their company, brand, or NGO name or message. Failure to follow this rule may lead to disqualification from the current and next editions of the race.
  6. Event Promoter reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon at any point in time without any notice.
