Race Regulations

Category Adherence: Runners must participate only in the race category confirmed in their entry. Participation in any other category will result in forfeiture of all benefits and official participation rights.
Non-Transferability of Entries: Race entries and official bibs are strictly non-transferable under any circumstances
Venue Entry and Security Verification:
Access Rules: On race day, only registered participants wearing valid on-ground bibs and official event crew will be granted venue entry.
Verification: The unique barcode on each running bib will be scanned at entrance gates.
Disqualification and Non-Refund: Entry will be denied to anyone who does not carry an official bib, wears an incorrect or invalid bib, or whose physical appearance does not match the photo ID submitted at the time of registration. Any participant who is denied entry, removed from the race route, or subsequently found to have violated these rules will not be entitled to any refund of the registration fee paid.
Bib Tag and Transfer Violations:
Assignment and Disqualification: Bibs and timing tags are assigned specifically to individual runners. Exchanging or transferring a bib will result in immediate disqualification and a ban from both the 2026 and 2027 editions of the event
Tampering and Timing: For timed categories (Half Marathon, Open 10K and Police Cup), tampering with, removing, or swapping the bib tag will prevent generation of an official finish time and timing certificate. No timing means no prize money.
Placement and Damage: Bibs must be worn on the front of the running vest.
Altering, folding, mutilating, or damaging the bib will result in disqualification.
Enforcement: Procam International reserves the right to take disciplinary action against both the registered participant and any individual running with another person’s bib. Unregistered or improperly bibbed participants will be removed from the course
Official Start Times: Timing results and official certificates will NOT be issued to runners or teams in timed categories (Half Marathon, Open 10K, and Police Cup) if they do not start at the officially designated time from their assigned start venue.
Venue Cut-Off Timings: To ensure a smooth race start and a seamless experience for all participants, runners must strictly adhere to specified venue entry and start cut-off times. Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate.
Prize Money and Contests:
Prize Money is Applicable exclusively to the Half Marathon, Open 10K categories and the Police Cup.
Run in Costume Contest is open to participants of all race categories.
Wheeled Vehicles: Wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the course. Any unauthorized vehicles will be removed from the race route immediately and the concerned participants will be disqualified. This restriction does not apply to wheelchairs used by registered participants in the Champions With Disability category.
Route and Venue Ineligibility: Only confirmed participants wearing valid on-ground bibs may enter the venue and route. The following individuals will be barred from entry or removed immediately, without refund or compensation
Participants wearing bibs from previous editions (e.g., VDHM 2025).
Participants wearing bibs for the virtual version of VDHM, whether of the current or previous editions.
Participants running with underage children or babies in arms.
Participants running with pets.
Ambush Marketing and Prohibited Equipment:
Ambush Marketing: Displaying or running with branded materials intended for unauthorized ambush marketing will result in immediate disqualification and confiscation of the materials.
Media Devices: Unauthorized DSLR cameras and drones are prohibited and subject to confiscation without compensation, unless prior written approval has been granted by Procam International.
No Refunds: Refund or compensation requests arising from disqualification under these rules will not be considered.
Code of Conduct: Participants act voluntarily and remain personally responsible for their conduct. Procam International reserves the right to bar any participant whose actions or expressions threaten social harmony, national integrity, or sovereignty. No refunds or compensation will be provided.
Restricted Items:
Helium-filled balloons are strictly prohibited within event venues and Race route
Weapons, arms, ammunition, illegal narcotics, and psychotropic substances are strictly banned. Anyone carrying these items will be denied entry and handed over to law enforcement immediately.
Course Reopening and Traffic: Course roads will reopen to vehicular traffic at 10:30 AM. Participants still on the course after this time must move to the footpaths to finish their run safely.
Medical Clearance: The event promoter reserves the right to halt or remove any participant whom official medical personnel consider medically unfit to continue.
Participant Health and Liability Waiver: Runners of all experience levels must monitor their vital signs and respect their physical limits. A medical evaluation by a qualified doctor before the event is strongly advised. Neither the event promoter nor the event sponsors or partners assume liability for medical consequences arising from participation. Baggage Policy: Baggage facilities are available only for timed categories (Half Marathon, Open 10K, and Police Cup). This facility is subject to our Baggage Collection Policy. Participants are encouraged to arrive without bags whenever possible.
Security Cooperation: Participants and supporters must cooperate fully with police and security personnel, and volunteers and organisers representatives including by consenting to random security checks on race day.
Promotional Photography: Photographs and media captured during the Playscape (Expo) and on race day may be used by the organizers for future event marketing and promotional purposes.
