In the event of a tie, the judges' score prevails.</li><li>Finality of Decisions: The decisions of the judging panel and PIPL are final and binding. 1. Eligibility &amp; Registration<ul><li>Registration Requirement: Open only to registered, confirmed runners across any race category of the VDHM 2026. Participation is voluntary.</li><li>Category Limits: Participants can enter only one category:<ul><li>Individual [1]</li><li>Group (Requires a minimum of 5 members, where each member must be a registered Event participant).</li><li>Note: Duplicated entries across both categories will result in disqualification from both [1].</li></ul></li><li>Race Completion: To be eligible for prizes, participants must complete their registered race distance while wearing their costume.</li></ul>2. Race Day Requirements<ul><li>Bib Display: Participants must explicitly pin and display their officially assigned running bib on the front of their costume throughout the Event. Obscuring, altering, or omitting the bib will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the course.</li><li>Mandatory Photo Op: Participants must be photographed at an official "Run in Costume" (RIC) Photo Op station on race day with their bib number clearly visible.</li></ul>Costume Guidelines &amp; Safety StandardsSafety &amp; Mobility<ul><li>Visibility &amp; Breathing: Costumes must not impede the mobility, vision, or breathing of the participant or fellow runners.</li><li>Material Restrictions: Sharp edges, metallic protruding elements, glass, or heavy/rigid structures that could cause injury upon impact are strictly prohibited.</li><li>Wheels &amp; Props: No wheeled contraptions (such as skates, scooters, unicycles, or carts) or sharp props are permitted.</li></ul>Prohibited Content &amp; Hazards<ul><li>Offensive Imagery: Messaging or imagery featuring explicit, vulgar, obscene, hate-speech, politically partisan, or religiously offensive content is strictly prohibited.</li><li>Impersonation: Costumes imitating law enforcement, emergency services personnel, military uniforms, or official event security are banned.</li><li>Environmental Hazards: The use of open flames, pyrotechnics, liquids, glitter cannons, or loose debris that could pollute the course or pose a slipping hazard is strictly prohibited.</li><li>All government, state, city, and local laws and regulations must be adhered to. PIPL, its stakeholders, and sponsors shall not be held liable for personal injury, property damage, illness, or loss suffered because of participating in the Contest or wearing a costume during the run.</li></ul>General Rules &amp; Jurisdiction<ul><li>Amendments: PIPL reserves the right to amend, suspend, or modify the Contest rules, timelines, or prizes without prior notice due to weather conditions, security concerns, or administrative necessity.</li><li>Discretion: All matters and administrative edge-cases not specifically covered by these rules shall be subject to the ultimate discretion of PIPL.</li><li>Governing Law: Any legal disputes arising from this Contest shall be subject to adjudication exclusively within Delhi jurisdiction.</li></ul>&nbsp;

Terms & Conditions

Run In Costume entries are assessed in two rounds.Round 1: Shortlisting (Judges Panel)<ul><li>Post-race, a judging panel appointed by Procam International will shortlist participants from race-day photographs.</li><li>Shortlisting will be based on craftsmanship, creativity, and overall presentation.</li><li>The panel will shortlist the top ten entries in each category.</li></ul>Round 2: Audience Poll<ul><li>Shortlisted participants will be featured on an official Procam digital platform.</li><li>An audience poll will be opened for a defined period.</li><li>Voting mechanics and timelines will be communicated separately.</li></ul>Final Result<ul><li>The judges' score and the audience poll are combined in equal measure, fifty per cent each, to arrive at the final result in each category.</li><li>In the event of a tie, the judges' score prevails.</li><li>The jury may award a Jury's Special Mention to an entry that shows exceptional spirit. This carries recognition only and no prize money.</li><li>The decision of the judging panel is final and binding on all participants. No correspondence, appeal or re-evaluation will be entertained.</li></ul>Winners will be announced on the event website and on Procam's official channels.
