As the Additional Chair Health Director at Indian Railways, Dr. Ballani balances a demanding professional life with his passion for fitness. He began his running journey in 2008, aiming to lose weight, and remarkably shed 40 kilograms. This transformation ignited his love for running, leading him to complete numerous half and full marathons, along with one ultramarathon and a half iron distance triathlon in 2018.
Dr. Ballani is not only an experienced runner but also a certified Functional Fitness Trainer Level 1, having studied Sports Kinetic Science to effectively address sports-related injuries. An avid gym-goer, he believes in the power of fitness to change lives. Despite his hectic schedule, he always finds time to run and inspires others to adopt healthy fitness regimes.
